A swipe file is a collection of tested and proven sales letters, email subject lines, opt-in forms. Collecting these files is common practice among internet marketers, so you will have a collection of ideas before you begin your next project. You should never begin a create project with a blank piece of paper, you should have some ideas from your swipe file.

One way to start your swipe file is to collect ads, the catch your attention. As an internet marketer you should create a folder on your computer with the different categories, email subject lines, sales
letters, headline, opt-in form, article resource box etc. Then every time you see a piece that catches you interest or that you know has been successful, you should save it to your file.
