Law of the Sales Funnel

If you desire long term success as an internet marketer you must understand the Law of the Sales Funnel. Many internet marketers, who do not understand this law, simply try to make the big sale right out of the box. They are happy selling a few people their $47 dollar ebook, and never contact them again. Those who understand the law will give away an ebook and start a relationship.

The internet marketer who abides by the law is trying to obtain a customer for life, rather than make a buck and burn ‘em. The key component of the law is the building of a respectful relationship. The law abiding internet marketer begins by delivering a quality product at a more than far price simply to collect an email address. Email is the only way to develop a relationship online.

Now that he has the email he will continue to build on his reputation of delivering a quality product at a fair price. Of course, this does not mean instant bombardment of sales offers. He will begin slowly offering some small sales offers mixed with free valuable information. You should mix one sales offer for every two to three emails simply offering free information. They key to the information is valuable to the niche you are marketing in.

Over time as the relationship grows, the internet marketer will begin to offer higher and higher cost (and profit) offers. Since you have now built a trusting relationship, a marketer can offer items costing thousands of dollars.

By forgoing the $47 profit in the front end the internet marketer is able to build a relationship over time by providing quality products at fair prices and make thousands of dollars on the back end.

As amazing as this sounds it is not complicated to set up the funnel. They great thing is you just set it up once and use over and over again. The funnel is set up using an autoreponder. An autoreponder simply sends out your prewritten emails, in sequence over time.
