Affiliate marketing is an ingenious, ethical, and profitable system whereby webmasters with limited resources and money can promote someone else’s product and make a commission off each sale or visitor. ssing services are kind of a third party not commonly seen in affiliate marketing. They take a cut of the sales from affiliates and merchants.

The only thing needed to succeed with affiliate marketing is a working affiliate link assigned to you and a small amount of targeted traffic. You can advertise your affiliate link in any way that’s legal. If you spam, either through e-mail, instant messenger, chat room, etc. your affiliate account might get banned, your name blacklisted, and your options limited for a good long time.

When you’re just starting out in affiliate marketing, you might be tempted to purchase seemingly good bulk traffic for a cheap price. For example, 10,000 visitors for $14.95 sounds awesome, but the traffic is usually of poor quality, may be hits and not unique visitors, and might not even speak English. Sales rarely come from these types of deals, unless it’s the sales that the traffic dealer is making off of you.

Purchase quality traffic, not bulk traffic. Placing ads on high-traffic websites by working out unique deals with the webmaster can put you in a prime position to cash in on the website’s visitor base. The webmaster will  never know exactly how much you’re earning so he’ll be unlikely to start doing it himself and blocking your ad purchases in the future.
