Here is how to add a handy ping-o-matich button your Firefox bookmarks toolbar.
Right click on your bookmarks toolbar to create a new bookmark. You can call it Ping or whatever you want. In location field copy and paste the javascript below and click on add.

The key is in the qdr: at the the end of the URL. You would use d for day or n for minute. In this example we are going to use the search phrase weight loss.
